Technology and Training

 Technology has become a key part of workplace trainings involving webinars and online courses for employees. Virtual trainings have become increasingly popular amongst companies around the world. "Education in the workplace can be training-centered or be designed to help employees stay competitive in their field by rounding out their skills. Either way, in 2021, employers are leaning toward virtual training options to keep their companies on track. As many companies grapple with hybrid workforces, or even continue to work remotely, a company’s decision to make education and training available online should be the new normal" (Hyder, 2021). With more companies becoming a part of the remote life, having online training for new employees as well as current employees, does not limit the education for their employees. 



Technology has enhanced trainings within the workplace because companies are now able to personalize employee trainings. Trainings no longer need to be a one size fits all and companies can have different trainings for the different learning levels of their employees. "While employees may not get the face-to-face training they used to, technology gives us the ability to deliver more personalized training methods — methods that adapt to the learner’s needs on the fly thanks to AI. Training programs can integrate into an employee’s workflow, helping them to learn as they work instead of forcing them to stop working to train" (Batti, 2021). Technology has allowed employees to learn from anywhere around the world and at their own pace. What type of online trainings does your company offer? 



The more training's that can be offered to employees and at convenience with online and technology-based training's, the more employees are going to want to participate in these training to advance themselves professionally within their careers.

Technological advancement in today's world has brought us to social media and relying on it for many things like connecting with family and friends, being invited to events, and catching up on the latest news stories. One of the biggest things as consumers we need to look for now is the news that is being shared with us and whether it is factual or fiction.
